DHAKA, May 18, 2023 (BSS) - Colonel Mahbub Alam took over the charges as the Additional Director General (operations) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) from the outgoing ADG Col Kamrul Hasan on Wednesday. 

Director of the Legal and Media Wing of RAB Commander Khandaker Al Moin told this to BSS this afternoon.

Khandaker Al Moin said that the outgoing ADG Kamrul Hasan returned to his parent force after being promoted from colonel.

According to RAB sources, prior to being ADG, Mahabub Alam was working in an intelligence agency, he added.
