GAZIPUR, May 10, 2023 (BSS) - As many as 831 tablet computers were distributed among meritorious high school and madrasa students in Kaliganj upazila of the district today.

Meher Afroze Chumki, MP, distributed the tabs in a function held in Upazila Parishad premises this noon with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Assadiq Zaman in the chair .

The function was addressed, among others, by project director of population and housing census Md Dildar Hossain, upazila parishad chairman Md Moazzem Hossain Palash, upazila project implementation officer Md Monirul Islam and Jemine Begum of Jatiya Mohila Sangstha.

Around 813 students of 37 high schools and 24 madrasas in the Upazila became happy getting tablet computers in the function.

Upazila administration and Upazila Statistic Office jointly organized the function.
