KHULNA, May 6, 2023 (BSS) - The admission test of first year honours of Dhaka University (DU) for the 2022-2023 academic sessions was held peacefully at the Khulna University sub-center here today.

At least 95.46 percent admission seekers out of 8,597 students attended the first day’s examination from 11.00am to 12.30pm today. The admission seekers took part in the examination under humanity, law and social science group, said a KU press release.

Besides the KU, some students took part in the admission test at Dildar Ahmed Government Secondary School, Reverend Pauls High School and Hope Polytechnic Institute under the KU center.

Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor of KU Dr Mahmud Hossain visited different centers during the admission test.

Expressing his satisfaction, the KU VC said, admission seekers became very happy by participating the entry test in a peaceful atmosphere.

He also thanked government, DU Authorities for taking admission test outside the capital for avoiding hassle free examination, the press release added.

The admission test for the Science faculty will be held at the same venue on May 12 while the admission test for the Business faculty will be held only at the KU center on May 13, the press release added.
