Hasan mourns death of his teacher Mohammad Ishaque

CHATTOGRAM, May 6, 2023 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister and Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Chattogram Government Muslim High School teacher (retd) Mohammad Ishaque.

The minister rushed to the house of his school teacher after hearing about his demise and paid glowing tribute to the deceased.

In a message of condolence, Hasan said Mohammad Ishaque, who was a teacher of the school from 1965 to 1994, was a highly educated, wise and dedicated teacher. He did his masters in English from Dhaka University and later obtained his MA degree in English from American International University at Lebanon, he added.

The minister said Mohammad Ishaque took the teaching profession as a vow to provide services to the nation and its people. He will ever be remembered as an example of an ideal teacher, he added.

Hasan had very often been visiting his dear teacher since he passed SSC in 1978 from the high school. Mohammad Ishaque also loved his student.
 
Mohammad Ishaque was born on June 17 in 1939 at Ramganj in Noakhali. His father's name is Ahmed Raza and mother is Manzurenssa.
 
Hasan prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
