DHAKA, May 2, 2023 (BSS) - Members of the Club Notre Damians Bangladesh Limited (CNBL) elected Md Refayet Ullah as president and 10 executive members for next two years.

Md Refayet was elected president bagging 287 votes while his rivals Shamimul Huq Pavel got 47 and Rajin Ahmed Avik got six votes, according to results announced here last night.

Chief Election Commissioner of CNBL Ziauddin Ahmed and election commissioners M Atiqul Azam, M Arifur Rahman and Adnan Nafis announced the results around 11pm last night.

Earlier, the voting of the Club Notre Damians Bangladesh Limited was held from 11am to 8pm without any break.

Elected executive committee members: Khaled Faisal Rahman (308 votes), Mohammad Badrul Hasan (303 votes), Mohammad Manirul Haque (276 votes), N E Khoda (Babu) (274 votes), SM Arif Reza Hossain (270 votes), Md Khaled Bin Salam (269 votes), Mohammad Ariful Islam Chowdhury (263 votes), Sheikh Aminur Rahman (257 votes), Hossain Akhtar Chowdhury (Minar) (255 votes) and AHM Zahurul Haq (217 votes).

The number of voters this year was 420, while 343 voters exercise their votes.
