DHAKA, April 28, 2023 (BSS) - Members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) on Thursday arrested four alleged terrorists from the Rohingya camp area of Ukhia in Cox's Bazar district.

The law enforcers received secret information that ARSA top terrorist Chamiuddin was staying with his gang in a room of Camp-5 located at Block-C, Sub-Block-C/5A around 7 am on Thursday, said a press release today.

After searching the house, a total of four people including two women were arrested, the release added.

The arrested are: Md Zobair, 20, son of late Mohammad Syed, Noor Mohammad, 25, late Kamal Hussain, Mosa Bibi, 16, daughter of Zobair Ahmed and Jamila Begum ,48, wife of Saleh Ahmed.

The law enforcers also seized four locally made 'One Shotgun', 30 Chinese rifle bullets, 27 pistol bullets, five Shotgun Cartridges, three empty magazines, four walkie talkies, five mobile phones and one knife.

The procedure of taking legal action against the arrestees is underway.
