DHAKA, March 23, 2023 (BSS) - A court here today set May 25 for submitting the probe report against Sultana Ahmed, general secretary (GS) of Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, in a Digital Security Act (DSA) case filed over making derogatory comments against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury passed the order as investigation officer (IO) of the case couldn't submit the report today.

Earlier on November 6, RAB-3 arrested Sultana from her Gulshan residence. As she was produced before the court on the same day, the court placed her on two-day remand.

Former president of Gopalganj District Chhatra League Abdul Hamid filed the case with Paltan Model Police Station.

According to the case, Sultana made derogatory comments against Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during a rally of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on September 1, 2022.
