DHAKA, March 20, 2023 (BSS) - A bus helper of Dewan Bus Paribahan was killed

after being hit by a bus in city's Azimpur area in the early hours of today.

The deceased was identified as Sanowar Hossain, 25, son of Akkas Ali of
Palashia village of Nalitabari police station in Sherpur district.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp-in-charge Bacchu Miah
confirmed the matter to BSS.

According to the police, the accident took place in the Azimpur bus stand
area around 6:30 am when a bus hit the victim, leaving him critically
injured.

Later, he was taken to the emergency department of DMCH, where the duty doctor declared him dead around 8 am.

Bacchu Miah said that the body has been kept in DMCH morgue for autopsy.
The matter has been informed to the concerned police station, he added.
