DHAKA, March 20, 2023 (BSS) -Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rajshahi, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, a met release said today.

 Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the met forecast for the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 30.0 degrees Celsius at Khepupara while the minimum temperature today was recorded 17.1 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi.

Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 61 millimeters (mm) at Nikli.

The sun sets at 6:10 pm today and rises at 6:03 am tomorrow in the capital.
