DHAKA, March 19, 2023 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over the country, a met release said today.
 
Day temperature may fall by (2-4) degrees Celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, said the met forecast for the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 33.0 degrees Celsius at Cox's Bazar while the minimum temperature today was recorded 17.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 40 millimeters (mm) at Netrokona.

The sun sets at 6:09 pm today and rises at 6:03 am tomorrow in the capital.
