DHAKA, March 18, 2023 (BSS) - The fourth and last phase of polls to elect 25 registered graduate representatives to the Dhaka University (DU) Senate was held today at the university campus.

The election was held at Teacher-Student Centre, University club, Physical Education Centre and Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, said a press release.

DU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman visited the polls centre.

Vote counting will begin tomorrow morning at 10 am at university's Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban while the result will be published after counting.

DU treasurer Prof Momtaj Uddin Ahmed has been conducting the polls as chief presiding officer, said the release.

Earlier, the first three phase of election was held on March 4, March 11 and March 15 at 42 centres outside Dhaka.
