DHAKA, March 12, 2023 (BSS) - The National Primary Education Week-2023 began today with a renewed commitment for ensuring education for all. 

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain inaugurated the National Primary Education Week at a function at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the city, an official release said. 

Director General of Directorate of Primary Education Shah Rezwan Hayat, among others, addressed the function with Secretary of the ministry Farid Ahmed in the chair. 

Zakir said the government has introduced updated and modern education system for young generation to cope them with Fourth Industrial Revolution (FIR). 

"The new education system will help flourish the inner talent of students as traditional educational method is not suitable with the constantly changing world," he added. 

The government has chalked down elaborate programmes including discussions, education fair, sport and cultural competitions to celebrate the National Primary Education Week.
