DHAKA, March 8, 2023 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)'s bomb disposal unit chief Major Mashiur Rahman said they are suspecting that accumulated gas inside the basement might have caused the blast at a Gulistan building on Tuesday.

"The explosion was not a normal incident. Gas accumulated in the basement of the building might have caused the explosion," he told reporters after visiting the scene at Siddiq Bazar in Gulistan area here in the afternoon.

Mashiur Rahman said that the explosion did not happen from AC.
