KUSHTIA, March 4, 2023 (BSS) - First year student of Islamic University (IU) Fulpori Khatun, who was physically assaulted in the name of ragging, today returned campus and got a seat at the Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall. 

Policemen of Pabna and Kushtia took Fulpori to the campus around 10.30am amid tight security. 

She was physically assaulted at the Deshratno Sheikh Hasina Hall on the university campus here.
 
Earlier on Wednesday, as per the order of High Court bench of Justice JBM Hassan and Justice Razik-Al-Jalil, the university authority temporarily expelled five students accused of ragging including the prime accused Ontora.

The High Court also issued another order to give allotment for Phulpari to a hall as per her choice.

IU Proctor Professor Shahadat Hossain Azad said Fulpori was given allotment to Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall as per her wish.
