DHAKA, March 4, 2023 (BSS) - Former Vice President of Manikganj District unit of Awami League (AL) and valiant freedom fighter Tushar Kanti Sarkar Topu passed away while undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital in the early hours of today.

He was 70. 

He left behind his wife, one son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death. 

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Tushar Kanti Sarkar. 

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
