DHAKA, Feb 25, 2023 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested Khandaker Golam Rabbani, who was sentenced to life imprisonment by the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT-1) for committing crimes against humanity in 1971.

Khandaker Golam Rabbani is a son of late Khandaker Abdur Rashid of Mymensingh Sadar Thana area.
 
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-2 arrested him from Sonar Bangla Residential Hotel in Moulavibazar Sadar Thana on Thursday midnight, according to a press release signed by Senior ASP Md Fazlul Haque, senior assistant director (Media) of RAB-2.

On February 23, 2023 the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT-1) handed down the verdict against him.
