DHAKA, Feb 21, 2023 (BSS) - Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Md. Jashim Uddin paid homage to the martyrs of the 1952 Language Movement by placing wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar in the early hours of today marking the International Mother Language Day.

The FBCCI President stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memories of the language heroes.

In his remarks, FBCCI President recalled the supreme sacrifices made by the language heroes of 1952, said a press release.

FBCCI Senior Vice President Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, Vice President M. A. Momen, Md. Amin Helaly, Salahuddin Alamgir, Md. Habib Ullah Dawn and others were present at the moment.
