DHAKA, Feb 7, 2023 (BSS)-Aysha, an 18-month old girl, was reportedly kidnapped from Narinda area in the old part of city in September 2022, officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) said here today. 

On September 7, last year, mother of the victim Moyna (40) along with her kid was begging in front of Narinda KA Hamid Govt Primary School. Once she went to the toilet of the school keeping her daughter outside of the toilet, Aysha was kidnapped at that time, police said.

On September 20, 2022, father of the victim Mosharraf Hossain filed a case with Gendaria Police Station to this end under the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking Act, 2012.

Despite filing the case, police could not rescue the victim yet, according to a letter of the CID of police sent to BSS.
