DHAKA, Feb 6, 2023 (BSS) - A two-day Islamic programme has been taken to observe the annual urs of Sufi Saint Hazrat Shah Khaza Sharfuddin Chishti on February 10 and 11 at his shrine on the Supreme Court Mazar and Masjid (Mosque) Complex premises in the High Court (HC) area in the city. 
 
Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique will be present at the inaugural programme as the chief guest on Friday and confer with Pagri (turban) to four Hafezes of the Holy Quran, who completed memorizing the Holy Quran from an Islamic seminary adjacent to Supreme Court Mazar and Masjid this year, said a press release here today. 
 
Supreme Court Mazar and Masjid Management Committee President Justice Md Nuruzzaman will preside over the programme on the first day while Khatib of the mosque Mawlana Ahmad Hasan will deliver sermon and conduct milad, jikr and munajat after Isha prayers. 
 
Supreme Court Mazar and Masjid Management Committee President Justice Md Nuruzzaman will be present at the Islamic programme as the chief guest on the second day on Saturday while Supreme Court Mazar and Masjid Management Committee Member Justice Md Abu Zafor Siddique will preside over the event. 
 
Pesh Imam of Supreme Court Mazar and Masjid Mawlana Ahmad Reza Faruqui will deliver the sermon on the second day while Peer (leader) of the Haqqani Anjuman Helaliya Mujaddediya Darbar Sharif, Dhaka Mawlana Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Helali will conduct milad, jikr and munajat after Isha prayers.
