KHULNA, Feb 6 (BSS) – The Government has distributed cheques Taka 33 lakh 55 thousand  among 55 distressed and poor labourers for their treatment and higher education for their children.

Director of the Directorate of Labour of Khulna Division Md Mizanur Rahman handed over the cheques to the labourer and their children through Sramik Kallyan Foundation at the conference room of the Directorate of labour office in the city.

He distributed the cheques amounting Taka 8 lakhs among 12 labourer of Jashore, Taka 14.10 lakh among 22 labourer of Bagerhat, Taka 2.85 lakh among seven of Satkhira, Taka 8.20 lakh among 13 labourer of Narail and Taka 40 thousand to a labourer of Magura.

Deputy Inspector Generel of Labour for Mill-factory Dr Nabeen Kumar howlader, among others, attended the occasion.
