RANGPUR, Feb 5, 2023 (BSS) - Some 89.30 percent of the targeted 1,76,10,956
people of all eight districts in Rangpur have so far been vaccinated with the
first doses of Covid-19 jabs.
"Till Saturday, 1,53,99,277 persons or 89.30 percent against the targeted
people got the first doses of Covid-19 jabs, and among them, 1,44,95,556
people or 82.31 percent got the second doses," Divisional Director (Health)
Dr. ABM Abu Hanif said.
At the same time, 69,24,884 persons have been vaccinated with the booster
doses and 2,12,303 people with the fourth doses of Covid-19 jabs in the
division.
Meanwhile, more 16,187 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered on Saturday
as the first, second, booster and fourth doses raising the total number of
vaccinated jabs to three crore 73 lakh 59 thousand and 189 doses in the
division.
The total number of Covid-19 patients remained steady at 64,955 as no fresh
Covid-19 cases were diagnosed after testing new samples on Saturday.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,662 as no
more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today.
"Besides, the number of casualties also remained steady at 1,293 as no new
death was reported during the last 24 hours," Dr. Hanif added.
