CHATTOGRAM, Jan 18, 2023 (BSS) - The family charity NNK Foundation of Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud has been distributing blankets among the helpless, uprooted, poor and destitute people at different places of the district since the beginning of the winter season.

About 10,000 blankets have been distributed till now.

As part of the programme, the foundation today distributed blankets in Dewanjihat Kheya Ghat area of Karnafuli River and Hosnabad union.

NNK Foundation officials Abdur Rouf Master and Enamul Haque, Chandraghona Union president S Abu Naser, Awami League leaders Md Harun, Md Forkan, Jubo League leader Md Sohel and Chhatra League leader Md Ali Shah, among others, were present.

Sanjoy Das, 60, who got a blanket, said the same organization distributed food items during the COVID-19 situation. And now, they gave the blankets, he added.

Foundation sources said the distribution programme will be continued.
