DHAKA, Aug 10, 2026 (BSS) - Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon today urged all concerned not to spread misinformation over the teacher's appointment in the private education institutions by the managing committee as the government has not taken any decision in this regard.

The education minster made this appeal in his verified Facebook page on Monday night following a wide speculation in this regard surfacing across the country.

He said Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA), a Bangladesh government regulatory agency under the Ministry of Education responsible for the registration and certification of teachers in private educational institutes under the government monthly pay order (MPO), was established in 2005 by the BNP government led by former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The Education Ministry is continuously reviewing the activities of the NTRCA and how the authority can operate its teachers' enrollment process more transparently, efficiently and effectively, he said.

Noting that there is a rumor on teachers' appointment by the school managing committee, the minister said the government so far did not take any decision in this regard.

The minister also requested all not to spread such misinformation.

The NTRCA is centrally operating interview of the candidates and giving recommendations to ensure teachers' appointment impartially based on their merit and qualification.

The government is concentrating to make the process more transparent and modern, he said.
