DHAKA, Aug 10, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has conveyed his prayers and warm wishes for the speedy recovery of Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In a message posted on the verified Facebook page of the Prime Minister's Office tonight, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman offered prayers and warm wishes for Anwar's good health and strength.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said, "I pray that the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, makes a speedy and full recovery. May Allah bless him with lasting health and strength."

"The people of Bangladesh join me in conveying our warmest wishes to our nation's valued friend," the Prime Minister said in the message.
