DHAKA, March 15, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team on their thrilling victory over Pakistan national cricket team in the third and final One Day International (ODI) held at Mirpur Stadium here.

With the win in the decisive match, Bangladesh clinched the three-match ODI series by 2-1 against the visiting side on Sunday.

In a statement following the series victory, the Prime Minister said the brave young cricketers of Bangladesh secured an 11-run win in a closely contested match, proving that determination and united effort can lead to success.

He said the remarkable performance of the national cricket team has made the country proud.

The Prime Minister expressed hope that the winning momentum of the young players would continue in future matches and tournaments.
