DHAKA, Jan 13, 2026 (BSS) - Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul today said Probashi Kallyan Bank will launch Sharia-based loan scheme soon for Bangladeshi expatriates.

"Good news for expatriate brothers. The Sharia-based loan programme is going to be launched soon from the Probashi Kallyan Bank," he wrote in a post on his verified Facebook account.

Dr Asif Nazrul said today he talked to the managing director of Probashi Kallyan Bank and he was informed that it would be possible to launch this loan scheme within this month.

"Shaykh Ahmadullah Bhai has inspired us to take this step. Thank him very much," he added.
