DHAKA, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) – Another 4.3 magnitude earthquake jolted the country this evening following a minor tremor reported this morning.
According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the quake was recorded at 6:06 pm today.
A revised bulletin of BMD stated that the earthquake measured 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale, with its epicentre at Narsingdi, located 23 kilometres North East from the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka.
No immediate reports of casualties or structural damage have been received.
Initially, the BMD in its bulletin mentioned that the magnitude was 3.7 on the Richter scale with its epicenter at Badda region, located 6 kilometres East from the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Earlier today, a minor earthquake of magnitude 3.3 jolted Palash upazila of Narsingdi this morning. The epicentre of yesterday's quake was also in Narsingdi.
On Friday, a powerful 5.7-magnitude earthquake rattled the country with its epicenter in Narsingdi.
