DHAKA, Dec 12, 2021 (BSS) - The National Memorial located at Savar, 
outskirts of the capital, will remain inaccessible to the public from today 
to December 15 for cleanliness purposes in observance of the Victory Day-
2021. 

 Besides, public access to the commemorative plaque will remain closed until 
the guests leave the memorial paying homage to the martyrs of the Liberation 
War on December 16, said a press release here today. The Ministry of 
Liberation War Affairs sought cooperation from all to protect the sanctity 
and the beauty of the monument. 

 Besides, the Liberation Affairs Ministry today urged all people to refrain 
from erecting three-dimensional or box-shaped gates on the road from Gabtoli 
to the National Memorial in Savar marking Victory Day 2021. 

  The ministry also urged to refrain from the hanging of any kind of posters, 
banners and festoons on the roadsides from Gabtoli to the National Memorial.
