DHAKA, Oct 19, 2023 (BSS)- Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today inaugurated a song titled ‘Sabash Sonar Bangladesh’ sung by ten singers at an auditorium of Press Information Department (PID) at secretariat here.

Noted signer Bappa Majumder was the music director of the song which was composed by Hasanuzzaman Masum.

Eminent singers Naqib Khan, Fahmida Nabi, Bappa Majumder, Elita Karim, Dilshad Nahar Kona, Somnur Monir Konal, Kishore Das, Jaman Saif, Sazzad Hossain and Imarn Mahmudul performed in the song.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ministry Shahriar Alam addressed the function as special guest while lyricist Hasanuzzaman and singer Fahmida Nabi also addressed the function.

Urging all to enjoy the song, the information minister said, the song contains the words of self-respect. This is our country and we the people of the country will decide how our country will run, not anyone from outside. This is the main message of the song, he added.

Dr Hasan and Shahriar Alam extended congratulations to all related with the song.

Later, Dr Hasan along with other guests unwrapped the poster of the song.
