PANCHAGARH, March 20, 2023 (BSS) - Railways Minister Md. Nurul Islam Sujan has said all rail tickets will be brought under online system as he distributed 274 laptops among primary schools in Debiganj and Boda upazila of the district.

"Hundred percent rail tickets will be brought under online system," he said.

The minister handed over one laptop among 158 primary schools of Boda upazila each and one laptop among 116 primary schools of Debiganj upazila each in separate functions on Sunday evening. 

At Debiganj, the function was held at upazila parishad hall room arranged by upazila administration and upazila education office under fourth primary education development project (PEDP-4). 

The minister said now everything is coming under online system. Students will have to be taught about using technology at school level, he said.

Mentioning that about 50 percent rail ticket came under online system, he said the hundred percent rail tickets will be brought under online. 

Upazila Nirbahi officer (UNO) Md. Golam Ferdous presided over the function as Education Officer Md. Samshul Alam, Upazila Awami League President Gias Uddin Chowdhury and General Secretary Hasnat Zaman Chowdhury Jarje, among others, were present.
