SANGSAD BHABAN, June 11, 2026 (BSS) — The government has proposed a fully integrated online system to streamline the company registration process, ensuring faster and more efficient services for entrepreneurs.
“An online provisional approval system will be considered for small and new businesses, so that entrepreneurs can start operations quickly and complete the required licensing and compliance requirements within six to twelve months,” said Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury.
The finance minister today made the proposal while placing around Taka 9.38 lakh crore national budget for FY27 at Jatiya Sangsad here this afternoon.
Under the proposed initiative, he said, key procedures including company name clearance, registration application submission, fee payment and certificate issuance will be completed entirely through an online platform.
The reform aims to reduce procedural delays and enhance ease of doing business, he added.
Most notably, he said, the new system is expected to complete full company registration within 48 hours of submission, marking a significant acceleration compared to the existing timeframe.
