BERLIN, June 29, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - German police said five people were killed and others injured Monday in a shooting in a youth welfare facility in the northern city of Stade.

Two people were arrested, including the suspected shooter, and there was now "no danger to the public", local police said in an update around 1215 GMT.
