KYIV, Ukraine, Feb 4, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - Negotiators from Russia and Ukraine have finished the first day of talks mediated by the United States in the United Arab Emirates, a spokesperson for Ukraine's lead negotiator said Wednesday.

"As of today, the negotiations have ended," Diana Davitian, spokeswoman for Rustem Umerov, told journalists, adding that "it is planned" that the talks will continue on Thursday.
