PHNOM PENH, Dec 22, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Cambodia said Thailand launched air strikes on its territory on Monday, just hours after Bangkok announced the two nations had agreed to hold truce talks this week aimed at halting deadly border clashes.

Cambodia's defence ministry said the Thai military "deployed F-16 fighter jets to bombard" areas of Siem Reap and Preah Vihear provinces, following regional crisis talks in Malaysia.
