WASHINGTON, Nov 4, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - George W. Bush on Tuesday hailed his
former vice president Dick Cheney as "among the finest public servants of his
generation" after he died aged 84.
Cheney, who played a leading role in pursuing the United States' troubled
wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, was "a patriot who brought integrity, high
intelligence and seriousness of purpose to every position he held," Bush said
in a statement.
