RANGPUR, Nov 30, 2022 (BSS) - More 29,579 doses of Covid-19 jabs were
administered on Tuesday raising the number of vaccinated jabs to three crore
48 lakh 87 thousand and 562 doses in Rangpur division.
 
"Among the administered Covid-19 jabs on Tuesday, 25,796 doses were
inoculated to the students aged 5-11 years as the first doses and 248 jabs as
the second doses," Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr Md Habibur Rahman
said.

So far, a total of 18,80,338 students aged 5-11 years of 5,590 primary level
educational institutions were administered with the first doses, and of them,
58,236 students with the second doses of the Covid-19 jabs in the division.

Till Tuesday, a total of 1,55,64,860 people, including students, got the
first doses of Covid-19 jabs, and of them, 1,33,27,153 got the second doses
and 59,95,549 got the booster doses in the division.

Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 patients remained steady at 64,948 as
no fresh Covid-19 cases were diagnosed after testing 87 new samples on
Tuesday.

The number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,641 no more
patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today in the
division.

"Besides, the number of casualties also remained steady at 1,293 as no new
death was reported during the last 24 hours," Dr Rahman said.
