RANGPUR, Nov 10, 2022 (BSS) - Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) in separate drives arrested two men with 3,294 pieces of Yaba tablets from Satmatha Sonibari and Jummapara areas in the city on Wednesday.
 
Executive magistrate of the district administration Nazmul Hassan with assistance of the DNC officials and police led the drives and arrested them red-handed with the contraband Yaba tablets from the spots.
 
The detaionees were identified as Mominur Islam Kajol, 34, son of Kala Miah of Satmatha area and Shahjahan kamala alias Manik, 40, son of Abul Kalam Azad of Jummapara area in Rangpur city.
 
Later, the district DNC authority filed a case against the arrested persons in this connection and handed them over to Tajhat police station.
