CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 23, 2022 (BSS) - Members of Border Guard Bangladesh

(BGB) recovered 172 bottles of contraband Phensidyl and 2.7 kgs of hemp in
two separate drives early today.

BGB said, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of BGB from Sonamasjid border
out post conducted a raid in Swashanghat area under Shibganj upazila in the
district at around 2:40 am and found 72 bottles of Phensidyl and 2.7 kgs of
hemp.

In an another team of BGB from the same BOP conducted a raid in Pirojpur area
in the same upazila at around 4 am and found 100 bottles of Phensidyl.

None could be arrested during the drives, the sources added.
