JHALAKATHI, Sept 22, 2022 (BSS) - A team of Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) here today realized Taka 13,000 as fine for various irregularities from the owners of four business establishments in different areas in Sadar upazila of the district town.

The team led by assistant director of Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) Indrani Das conducted the drive at the two Pharmacies, fined for keeping date expired medicines and two grocery stores, fined for tampering prices and writing higher prices in Navogram Bazar and Talukder Market area in Sadar upazila of the district today.

The four business establishments were fined Taka 13,000 for various irregularities and violation of the Consumer Rights Protection Act-2009.

Members of the law enforcement agencies assisted the team.

The campaign will continue, Indrani added.
