SIRAJGANJ, Sep 21, 2022 (BSS) - Two people were killed and one was injured as a truck crushed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Sadar Upazila here last night.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Malek, 22, hailed from Betkandi village in Ullapara Upazila and Yamin, 08, a resident of Vadrakol village of the Upazila.

Relatives of the deceased said the accident occurred last night in Kashiahata area on Sirajganj-Kodda Highway, leaving two critically injured. Malek and Yamin were rushed to a local hospital, where the duty-doctors declared them dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter. He said police seized the auto-rickshaw and the truck from the spot.
