BOGURA, Sep 8, 2022 (BSS) - A man was killed and two others including his
father were injured in a lightning strike in Boithapara area under
Shahjahanpur Upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Hossain Ali, 30, hailed from the area.

Officer-in-Charge of Shahjahanpur police station Abdullah Al Mamun said
Hossain Ali, his father Ifran Ali and another one were struck by the
lightening while they were working in a crop's field. Hossain Ali died on the
spot, he added.

Injured people were admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital
in Bogura.
