RAJSHAHI, Aug 31, 2022 (BSS)- A total of 20 illegal hospitals and diagnostic
centres have been shut conducting a drive against them in the city yesterday.

Amid direction of the directorate of health services, the civil surgeon
office launched a hectic drive against illegal and unauthorized hospitals and
diagnostic centres in the city and eight upazilas of the district.

Civil Surgeon Dr Abu Sayeed Faruque said they found 20 clinics, including 12
in the metropolis, operating their business illegally.

He said the clinics and centres will remain closed until further order,
adding that such types of drive will also continue in the days to come.
