RANGAMATI, July 21, 2022 (BSS) - The World Population Day-2022 was observed
in the district today with the theme "A world of 8 billion: Towards a
resilient future for all harnessing opportunities and ensuring rights and
choices for all."

Department of Family Planning organised a colourful rally in the district
town led by Diptimoy Talukder, Convener of Rangamati Family Planning
Department.

The rally was brought out from the premises of Rangamati District Shilpakala
Academy and ended on Zila Parishad premises.

After the rally, Rangamati Hill Zila Parishad Chairman Angsui Pru Chowdhury
addressed the function as the chief guest, held at Rangamati Zila Parishad
Hall Room with Diptimoy Talukder in the chair.

Rangamati Additional District Magistrate Md Al Mamun Mia, Kaukhali Upazila
Parishad Chairman Shamsuddoha Chowdhury, Assistant Director of Family
Planning Department Dr. Baby Tripura, among others, were present on the
occasion.
