CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 18, 2022 (BSS)  - Two more persons  tested positive for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours till this morning,  raising the total number of infection to 6,801 in the district.

 
During the time, 20 samples were tested. Of them, two persons were detected as positive for COVID-19, Civil Surgeon office sources confirmed.

A total of 164 patients have so far died of COVID-19 and 6,609 patients have recovered from the disease here, the sources added.

The sources further added that 13,85,695 people of the district have got first dose of covid vaccine, 13,34,912 people have got second dose and 2,33,681 people have got booster dose.
