FARIDPUR, July 3, 2022(BSS) - A woman and her daughter were killed in a road accident at Kolimajhi road under Boalmari upazila of the district this noon.

The deceased were identified as Suporna Biswas, 30, wife of Probir Biswas, a resident of Tangrail village of the upazila and her daughter Prottasha Biswas, 7.

Officer-in-Charge of Boalmari Police Station Abdul Wahab said the accident took place near a brick kiln of Kolimajhi road when a truck hit a rickshaw-van, leaving the two van passengers dead on the spot.
