MYMENSINGH, June 20, 2022(BSS) - A daylong workshop on implementation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's 10 special initiatives was held in Shahid Abdul Jabber auditorium in the city today.

District administration and governance innovation unit of the Prime Minister's Office jointly organised the workshop on "Prime Minister's ten special initiatives".

Divisional Commissioner Shafiqur Reza Biswas inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest with Deputy Commissioner Md. Enamul Haque in the chair.

Administrator of Zilla Parishad Yusuf Khan Pathan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam and President of City unit Awami League Eahtashemul Alam were present at the workshop.

The chief guest said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken the ten special innovative initiatives in her commitment to build a development Bangladesh by 2041.

The 10 special initiatives are: Palli Sanchay Bank, Asrayan Prokalpo, Education Assistance, Women's Empowerment, Electricity for All, Social Security Programme, Environmental Protection, Investment Development, Community Clinic and Child Development and Digital Bangladesh.

Participants in the workshop gave their recommendations to implement the special initiatives.

Officials of various government and non-government departments, public representatives, media personnel, teachers and civil society representatives joined in the workshop.
