
RANGPUR, May 31, 2022 (BSS) - A daylong training course for the female hajj
pilgrims was held at a local community centre in the city on Monday.
Ar Rahma Women's Welfare Organization organized a training course
participated by 100 female Hajj pilgrims, who will perform the holy religious
ritual in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year, from all over the district.
With Chairman of Ar Rahma Women's Welfare Organization Rahmatun Chowdhury in
the chair, Rangpur District Council Administrator Advocate Chhafia Khanom
attended the training course as the chief guest.
Social workers of the city Hosne Ara Haque Nazu, Zebun Nesa, Mojeza Parveen
Chowdhury were present as special guests.
Rahmatun Chowdhury discussed the 'Arkan' and 'Ahkam', religious rituals and
methods for performing 'Oju', 'Tayammum', 'Salat', Hajj and circumambulating
the holy Ka'aba Sharif in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina Munwara.
The chief guest welcomed the female Hajj pilgrims and thanked the authority
of Ar Rahma Women's Welfare Organization for arranging the training course
for female pilgrims before performing the holy Hajj.
She especially called upon the female hajj pilgrims to pray for prosperity
and welfare of the country and its people and Muslim Ummah and humanity as a
whole.
She suggested the female hajj pilgrims take necessary medicines and keep
mobile phone numbers and contacts of their companions during the whole period
of performing the hajj.
