JASHORE, May 23, 2022 (BSS) - Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested a man and his son with five foreign made pistols and five bullets from Sadipur village under Benapole Port Thana of the district this morning.

The arrested were identified as Shah Jamal Kalu, 52, and his son Sohel Rana, 30, residents of Sadipur village in Benapole port Thana.

On a tip-off, a BGB team conducted a raid at the house of Shah Jamal Kalu this morning and arrested them with the firearms and bullets, Jashore BGB-49 Battalion Commander Shahed Minhaj Siddiqui said.

BGB handed them over to Benapole Port Thana, he added.

A case was filed in this connection.
