CHANDPUR, May 20, 2022 (BSS) - Two primary teacher candidates were killed in 
a head-on collision between a pickup and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in 
Ghosherhat Miarbazar area on Chandpur-Comilla regional road of the district.

The deceased were identified as Abdullah, son of Hossain Patwari, resident of 
Hajiganj upazila of Chandpur district while another was identified as Fatema, 
daughter of Mahbubul Alam. 

Chandpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Rashid confirmed 
their death saying: "A primary assistant teacher named Fatema Alam died on 
the spot while a young man named Abdullah died after being taken to 
hospital." 

The accident occurred in the area around 9:30 am, the OC added.
