RANGPUR, May 19, 2022 (BSS) - More 14,089 doses of Covid-19 jabs were
administered on Wednesday raising the number of inoculated vaccines to two
crore 79 lakh 31 thousand and 501 doses in Rangpur division.
 
Health officials said, among the 14,089 doses of the jabs inoculated on
Wednesday, 524 were administered as the first doses, 1,621 as the second
doses and 11,110 as the booster doses.

 "Till Wednesday, a total of 1,35,29,474 people got the first doses of Covid-
19 jabs, and of them, 1,28,09,415 got the second doses and 15,92,612 got the
booster doses," said Divisional Director (Health) Dr. Abu Md. Zakirul Islam.

 Meanwhile, the number of Covid-19 infected patients rose to 64,143 in the
division as one fresh positive case was diagnosed after testing 121 new
samples on Wednesday.

 The number of healed Covid-19 patients remained steady at 62,785 in the
division where no new patients recovered during the last 24 hours ending at 8
am today.

 "Besides, the number of casualties remained steady at 1,284 in the division
as no new deathswere reported during the last 24 hours in the division," Dr.
Islam added.
